Big Ideas in Innovation Award

The NEACH Big Ideas in Innovation Award recognizes the outstanding contribution of organizations that are transforming the financial industry and payments. The award covers three categories crucial to the success of the industry and the continued growth of the profession, commending the highest degree of focus in the areas of: efficiency - improving the effectiveness of the financial services industry, advancement - leading the industry in the implementation of innovative solutions, and security - demonstrating exceptional strides in system and technology security. Any NEACH member organization is eligible for this award. Nominated organizations need only fall into one of these innovative categories: efficiency, advancement, and technology security.

President’s Award

The President’s Award recognizes a financial institution that has made significant achievements in the innovation, development, implementation or advancement of electronic payments for the benefit of the financial institution or its customers/members. Eligible institutions include any NEACH Member financial institution.

Rising Star Award

The Rising Star Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the innovation, excellence, implementation or promotion of electronic payments. Eligible individuals include any individual employed by a NEACH member financial institution, corporation, or vendor.

Community Impact Award

The Community Impact Award honors a company that is making a significant contribution to their community through time, actions, talents, dedication, and/or resources. This company serves as a role model for compassion and service and strives to make their community a better place to live and work by doing at least one of the following: 1) Showing a commitment to the community outside of normal business practices; 2) Has a desire to build diverse, inclusive, and balanced communities; 3) Makes a sustainable and/or tangible impact in the region; 4) Displays a clear commitment to social responsibility; or, 5) Demonstrates leadership in the community.

STEPS TO RECOGNITION

Eligibility

Nominees can come from any individual or organization at any level and department of an organization. There is no requirement for time spent in the field (newcomers can be excellent too!).

Nomination Process

All nomination proposals for the NEACH Excellence Awards will be reviewed by NEACH staff to determine the finalists for this award. Staff will be selecting the top, three submissions by category. Nominees will be notified on April 11th, 2025 as to whether they have been selected for an Excellence Award.

Recognition & Deadlines

Winners are recognized at the 2025 Payments Management Conference Awards Reception. Finalists will be notified by April 11th, 2025, and should plan to attend the reception to accept the award if selected.

Release & Use

Nominators and nominees understand and agree that their nominations will become the property of NEACH. NEACH may edit and publish the materials on its website and use the information in articles/ media/social posts or any related information or photos for editorial, analytical, educational, and other purposes.
