NEACH Announces Most Recent Addition to its Board of Directors

Scott Goldthwaite, President, Aliaswire, Inc. will Serve as the Board’s Corporate Member

Burlington, Mass., June 24, 2021 — The New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) named Scott Goldthwaite, President, Aliaswire, Inc. to its Board of Directors. As a representative of a FinTech organization, Goldthwaite will serve as a corporate member of the Board, representing the views and perspectives of non-financial institutions. His term will run through May 2022.

“With the increasing use of digital technology, FinTechs are playing a growing role in financial services,” Sean Carter, President, NEACH. “So, having input from this segment of the financial services ecosystem is key to ensuring the industry can continue to deliver on the digital needs of users. As such, we are pleased to have Scott as part of the NEACH Board to hear from and engage in dialogue on important topics to support a more digital future.”

Goldthwaite added, “It’s an honor for me to be part of an organization that has been shaping the payments industry for over 45 years. As the only non-bank board member, I am excited to bring a FinTech perspective to the organization.”

The NEACH Board of Directors is composed of 10-20 individuals from banks and credit unions, as well as one corporate member from a non-financial institution. The Board oversees the governance and administration of the organization and addresses topics of strategic and operational significance to NEACH and its members. In selecting its Board and Executive Committee members, NEACH seeks diversity of experience and background.

The NEACH Board of Directors most recently met on May 20, 2021. The next meeting of the Board will be on August 5, 2021.
