NEACH Announces Winners of the 2023 NEACH Excellence Awards
Burlington, Mass., June 26, 2023 — The New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) announced the winners of its NEACH Excellence Awards, which showcase outstanding payments contributions in leadership, products, or services to the financial services industry. All award winners are members of the payment organization. The program, managed and judged by NEACH, is one of New England’s most prestigious honors, recognizing individuals and organizations.
The awards are split into three categories:
-
The Big Ideas in Innovation Award, which recognizes the outstanding contribution of organizations transforming the financial industry and payments. This year’s winner is Identifee, recognized for its ability to connect segmented data to identify revenue opportunities, amplify the business case for change with peer benchmarking, and provide lean learning tied to each opportunity.
-
The President’s Award, which recognizes a financial institution that has made significant achievements in the innovation, development, implementation or advancement of electronic payments for the benefit of the financial institution or its customers/members. The 2023 recipient is Liberty Bank, honored for its launch of Owners Bank, a digital bank created to meet the unique needs of small business owners.
-
The Rising Star Award, which recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership. The 2023 honoree is Jennifer Aldo, Deposit Operations ACH Specialist at Merrimack Valley Credit Union, who recently led her institution through a project to streamline ACH processing with the credit union’s core providers, resulting in operational efficiencies and a better experience for credit union members.
“NEACH established the Excellence Awards 40 years ago to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of the organizations and people working in payments who continue to push boundaries and consistently raise the bar for excellence,” said Sean Carter, AAP, NCP, President and CEO, NEACH. “Their contributions have been instrumental in setting new standards and advancing how our industry manages payments. I look forward to seeing what they do next.”
For fifty years, NEACH has provided hundreds of financial institutions in the Northeast with timely and accurate information about the payments system. And nationally, NEACH represents its members by working closely with other financial organizations on issues including best practices, strategy, and rules and product development. NEACH also offers its members educational programs in all aspects of the payments industry as well as continuing education and professional development opportunities.
