NEACH Announces Innovating Payments 2019 and Calls for Presentations

As part of its efforts to help New England financial institutions make informed, strategic decisions for payments innovation and growth, the New England Automated Clearing House (NEACH) is announcing a call for presentations for its second annual Innovating Payments Conference, to be held on October 9th and 10th, 2019 at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport in Boston, MA.

Innovating Payments 2019 seeks to convene a diverse group of stakeholders, including community financial institution executives and FinTech players, to discuss how FinTechs are disrupting traditional banking by driving change, and to provoke conversations on how collaboration between the two can be the primary driver of disruption.

“No area of banking is undergoing more change and innovation than payments,” said Joe Casali, Senior Vice President, Payments Innovation, at NEACH. “Both locally and nationally, we continue to see the rise of FinTech and financial institution collaboration and partnership. This event creates an opportunity for New England financial institutions to discuss how to leverage FinTech solutions, breakdown entry barriers, and remain relevant in an industry that continues to evolve at an alarming rate.”

NEACH is seeking presentations on a wide range of topics, including FinTech solutions and providers, faster payments, trends in FinTech, RegTech, PropTech and InsurTech, strategic innovative examples, and more. This call for presentations, in particular, seeks session proposals on defining and refining a Payments Strategy for financial institutions.

Information on how to submit presentations can be found on the event page. The deadline for submitting a presentation for Innovating Payments 2019 is September 17, 2019.
