Benefits of Membership

Membership in NEACH provides financial institutions and corporations' direct access to the latest information, education and risk management programs to understand and process electronic payment transactions. NEACH provides a total spectrum of valuable benefits to assist you in sharpening your effectiveness as a stakeholder in the complex and dynamic world of electronic payments. Membership promotes professionalism in the industry, and ensures that you and your organization are recognized as key players in the industry.

The NEACH professional staff serves on many national work groups and councils. NEACH members also have access to rules work groups at the national level.

As one of the four founding members of the National ACH Association, NEACH represents member interests at the national level. NEACH members have access to Requests for Comment, surveys and other information that allows you to provide us with your input prior to voting on ACH rules and other issues.

NEACH sponsors and administers the National ACH Association's professional certification program, the Accredited ACH Professional (AAP). The AAP title is an important indicator that a person has gained a high level of ACH knowledge and skill.

Call NEACH at 781-321-1011 when you have questions about any aspect of the ACH Network. NEACH has the answers, or we can direct you to experts in the field of your inquiry. The NEACH professional staff answers over 3000 questions every year!

NEACH members are eligible to file "Rules Violation Reports" when you detect an erroneous practice or entry. NEACH investigates and follows up on all violations whether they are filed by, or against, a member.

Attendees at NEACH training programs receive credit hours that can be applied to various professional designations, e.g. AAP, CCM, CPE, APA, CAE, etc.

A 20-page catalog of ACH/EC publications, marketing materials and training aids shows the complete library of resource materials available. Members receive considerable discounts on publications from NEACH, and special sale prices on the featured pub-of-the-month in the newsletter.

Join us at NEACH's focused conferences or perhaps you may want to attend NACHA's annual Payments Conference.

NEACH members receive discounts, reduced pricing and special offers on every product and service offered by the NEACH and NACHA. These apply to local, regional and national programs.

NEACH, the Federal Reserve, federal and state government, and local companies join forces to sponsor annual campaigns. NEACH member institutions and companies are invited to join these programs to: maximize employee/customer participation; obtain materials at reduced prices/free; benefit from national media exposure; and reduce costs by reducing paper-based products/services.

NEACH's official newsletter and e-newsletter are sent to each member institution and company. The newsletters contain the most current articles on ACH and payments topics, issues and developments. A recurring section on the education, publications, and member activity areas contains must-know information.

Hundreds and hundreds of attendees participate in dozens and dozens of NEACH programs every year.
