Revised Uniform Commercial Code Article 4A covers wholesale funds transfers, including automated clearing house (ACH) credit transactions not subject to the Electronic Fund Transfer Act of 1978 (EFTA), which governs electronic funds transfers to or from a consumer's personal, family, or household deposit or other asset account. Consequently, the payments Article 4A governs involve mainly businesses and financial institutions. This session covers how UCC4A applies to wholesale credits processed through the ACH Network. Attendees will study the impact that UCC4A has on Originators, ODFIs and RDFIs. This is a great session for Compliance, Audit and Legal staff.
