One Event You Won't Want to Miss
Payment Insights 2008 will examine the continuing evolution of the US payments landscape and provide a forum for an in-depth discussion of the key forces that are shaping the industry in its shift from paper to electronic payments.  The focus will be on data, trends, and strategic considerations. This year's conference will offer General Session addresses, panel discussions, and presentations on the issues that you need to know.

Payment Insights 2008 is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for the New England payments community to hear some of the nation's most respected payments professionals in an intimate local setting.  Join the best and brightest at Payment Insights 2008 and help craft the payments landscape of tomorrow in New England. Whether you are an ACH professional, a payments executive, or a line of business owner, Payment Insights 2008 offers something for everyone.

General Sessions:
Innovation and Change in the Automated Clearing House Network
Since the dawn of the 21st Century, the Automated Clearing House network has been characterized by dynamic growth, innovation, and change.  As the pace of change continues to accelerate, ACH changes become more important to payments and banking. The 2008 Payment Insights Keynote address features members of NACHA’s Board of Directors who will share their personal and professional perspectives on the prospects for innovation in the ACH Network and the challenges inherent in this progress.
Featuring:
Danne L. Buchanan, EVP, Zions Bancorporation & CEO, NetDeposit; NACHA Board Vice Chairman
Roy C. DeCicco, SVP, JPMorgan Chase; Chairman of the Risk Management Advisory Group (RMAG)
Norman Robinson, President, EastPay, AAP, CTP

Transition to Electronic Payments: Observations from Experience
The continued transition to electronic payments creates significant efficiencies while at the same time changing the way financial organizations operate. Managing this transition is complex as the increased electronification has significant impacts on operational processes, risk management, and human resources. Based on his experiences at the Federal Reserve and the US Treasury Department, Mr. Hammond will share his perspectives on the challenges and ways to manage them going forward.
Donald Hammond, Deputy Director, Division of Reserve Bank Operations and Payment Systems, Board of Govenors of the Federal Reserve System

Mobile Banking and Payments: Where We Are, Where Do We Go From Here?
Just 5% of online consumers today use mobile banking. More than two-thirds say they are not interested in mobile payments. Why aren’t consumers adopting mobile financial services as quickly as they have in other channels? Consumers today simply do not understand the role that mobile devices can play in their financial lives. Banks and payment providers have failed to capitalize on the unique benefits of the mobile channel in their hunt for the killer financial app. When will we get there? What should you do now?
Emmett Higdon, Senior Analyst, eBusiness & Channel Strategy, Forrester Research
