 | | The New IAT (International ACH Transaction) - Your Responsibilities Debbie Barr, AAP, CTP, Senior Director Network Rules, NACHA All financial institutions, regardless of size, will be impacted by the new IAT rules that go into effect on March 20, 2009. International transactions are serious business, and your financial institutions may be processing them today and not know it. When the new rule is implemented, compliance is a must – failure to comply could lead to OFAC penalties and even imprisonment of FI employees. In this important session, the new rule will be defined in detail and scenarios will be reviewed that will help financial institutions identify how they apply.
